Have a read below to check out What’s On in Term 2 for Harbour Volleyball. As the summer has ended we are now switching our focus back to Indoor Volleyball.
We also want to congratulate Rangitoto College for their performance at the recent NZSS Champs. The girls defended their championship going back-to-back, and remarkably went undefeated through all 4 of their competitions this season. The boys nearly took home the 3-peat, only losing the final and finishing in second place.
And we do have one final beach volleyball tournament to go before the daylight savings gets here and the season is officially over. We are running our first Harbour Masters Tournament at the HBVC on Saturday 6 April. The trials for the U19s & U17s are Wednesday 3 April at the B&T Netball Centre in Northcote. We will look to select 2 teams in each grade. Once selected, we will train all the way up until we go away for the tournament in Wellington over King’s Birthday Weekend in June. Click the registration link to register and find out more information. Senior trials are to be confirmed this week but you still need to register.

If you are wanting to get extra opportunities to learn and improve on indoor volleyball skills OR to just fill in your school holidays with something to do then registering for our Harbour Volleyball School Holiday Programmes are ideal for you! The focus for each of the holiday programmes is on general technical development of skills, including: passing, serving, setting, and hitting, and implementing those skills in games and game like activities.
We accommodate students from years 7 to 13 and at all skill levels, running two seperate programmes, one for Year 7 – 10, and one for year 11 – 13.

Dates: Every Tuesday & Thursday night in Term 2 – 30 April to 4 July, 2024
Times: Beginners 5-6:30pm Development/Advanced may choose between 5-6:30pm OR 6:30-8pm
Venue: Albany Junior High School Gym (the gym is located around the back of the school next to the neighborhood).

Times: 3 rounds starting at 7pm, 8pm & 9pm – you play 1 match per week per team.
Venue: AUT Akoranga Gym – 90 Akoranga Drive, Northcote, Auckland 0627
Format: 6 v 6 Indoor Volleyball matches with a round robin followed by playoffs over the 10 week league.
Divisions: We have 3 divisions for all levels: Competitive, Intermediate & Competitive.
Entries: We accept entries as a team, so if you are looking to enter individually please send us an email and we will do our best to get you on to a team.

We are very fortunate to have a permanent 6-court beach volleyball centre in Mairangi Bay. You can register to become a member and use the courts whenever they are free by booking your courts online.
